CAPE HATTERAS LIGHTHOUSE

Is the tallest brick lighthouse on the American Coast standing at 208 feet high and is painted in black and
white spiral stripes. The present lighthouse went into service in 1870 and is one of the nation's
well-known landmarks. Former Lighthouse Keepers Quarters serves as a visitor center and museum.
